Children: 12 year-old sporty boy, a 10-year-old girl who loves her beauty products and a 2.5-year-old who loves everyone.

Days: Usually Monday to Thursday, and some weeks it may change with overnight stays required occasionally on a Tuesday and Wednesday when Mum travels for work.

School and Kindy drop-offs afternoon shifts (14:30-18:30)

School and Kindy drop off, then 14:30 start for pickups and through till the next morning.

Family Details: The family home is reasonably quiet and peaceful. The kids all have their own rooms and they enjoy playing in the backyard. They have a great neighbourhood as their street is a quiet cul-de-sac. They have 2 cocker spaniels.

The oldest boy goes to Robina High, the middle child attends Merrimac State and the youngster goes to Daycare in Nerang.

Ideal Nanny: They would love to find someone who feels like part of the family and wants to work with them long term. Must be reliable and have a good driving record. Available for overnight stays. Cooking is a bonus and you can expect a bonus as the family appreciates the help. A fully insured car can be provided to a suitable applicant (open driver’s license required) if needed for use during shifts.

Duties: School drop-off and pick-up. Overnight stays. Preparing lunch and afternoon tea. Basic homework supervision.

Rate of Pay: $35 to $40 plus neg

Children: An adorable 10-month-old who is a happy little girl who loves playing and reading books. The family have two older boys who will not be at home as they have afterschool activities.

Days: Monday, Thursday, Friday evening and some Saturdays

Hours: Monday 8:30-4:30pm and Thursday 8:30 - 5:30pm

Family Details: Mum is a busy Real Estate Agent & Dad works as a Tradesman and coaches the boys footy teams. They are a busy family of 5 that live on a beautiful 2 acre property. They have a very well organised routine that works well and they want to welcome the special someone into their family where love flows effortlessly, respect is expected, kindness is required, support is appreciated, and everybody is valued.

SURFERS PARADISE WATERS - Full-time Nanny/House Manager/PA (nanny under trial)

Children: 20 month old Toddler twin girls and a 5 year old girl.

Days:

- Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am – 5:30 pm

- Friday 2- 7 pm

- Total: 45+ hours per week (hours can be changed if needed with another nanny)

Family Details: They are a valued long-term client of ours, and are a warm, professional blended family in a lively, love-filled home where days are full, dynamic, and family-focused. Mum oversees the household and manages the family’s property portfolio, while Dad runs a busy corporate finance company and travels weekly.

Ideal Nanny: You’ll be working closely with the core team, including their dedicated full-time nanny for the twins, so being collaborative, flexible, and easy-going is essential. Seeking a highly capable and nurturing Family Manager / Personal Assistant / Senior Nanny to support this lovely family and household in both a hands-on and leadership capacity. This is a dynamic role that requires a unique blend of childcare expertise, household coordination, and personal assistance. You’ll be instrumental in maintaining the structure and flow of the home, providing high-quality care to the children—particularly the busy toddler twins—and ensuring all daily operations run smoothly.

Travel is a regular part of our lifestyle, both within Australia and internationally, soyou must bee comfortable with occasional/frequent travel.

You will need strong skills in administration with the ability to manage travel bookings, household staff and childcare activities.

Hourly Rate: $38-$40 + statutory superannuation and leave entitlements ($88-90K per annum) depending on experience

BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL AND SPLIT SHIFTS

THIS COULD BE A POSITION THAT MIGHT SURPRISE YOU

A typical day will usually be around 6 to 10 hours and you get the middle of the day off to do your own thing. Some families may increase hours if you are happy to do some extra jobs at home or pick up shopping.

Many families will be looking for a Nanny to help with afternoon only or might have options for you to consider.

The role requires you to be reliable, and have a suitable car and a good driving record. It usually involves driving and sitting in a long queue at school pick up, but it's not too bad when you're being paid.

MORNINGS: Getting the kids up, fed, dressed and bags packed and taken to school or Daycare. it might also involve some light domestic duties such as hanging out a load of washing, emptying or packing the dishwasher and making lunches.

AFTERNOONS: Pick up from school or Daycare, often taking children to sports, dance or other activity, coming home, unpacking bags, cleaning lunchboxes, afternoon tea, possible homework supervision, play or hangout with the kids, organise uniforms and bags for the next day, bathing kids. May include domestic duties like getting the washing of the line and folding, meal prep.
