Ideal Nanny: Someone who loves the outdoors and being active with the boys, has a driver's license and can help Mum and Dad get them around. They are looking for someone who wants to be part of their family and can potentially come on holidays with them at times too. Must have a good driving record with drop off and then collecting the boys to bring home in the evening, with some sports or kids activities thrown in. They're open to some negotiation around times. It’s more about the right person.

Family Details: Mum and Dad have regular getaways and would like to find an amazing nanny who will come and stay with their boy and little doggo. We have a spare bedroom and we live in a brand new apartment building on Hedges avenue. A car or driver's license isn't a requirement, mainly because we are so close to his school and everything but we are also happy to pay for Uber trips if needed. Their lovely home is clean, minimalistic, beachy and casual.

Duties include: Preparing and cooking meals, taking him to his basketball on Saturday mornings - happy to pay for an Uber. Doing his washing, general cleaning up etc.
As they do live in an apartment, it would also involve caring for the dog, taking her down periodically to the toilet etc.

BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL AND SPLIT SHIFTS
THIS COULD BE A POSITION THAT MIGHT SURPRISE YOU
A typical day will usually be around 6 to 10 hours and you get the middle of the day off to do your own thing. Some families may increase hours if you are happy to do some extra jobs at home or pick up shopping.
Many families will be looking for a Nanny to help with afternoon only or might have options for you to consider.
The role requires you to be reliable, and have a suitable car and a good driving record. It usually involves driving and sitting in a long queue at school pick up, but it's not too bad when you're being paid.
MORNINGS: Getting the kids up, fed, dressed and bags packed and taken to school or Daycare. it might also involve some light domestic duties such as hanging out a load of washing, emptying or packing the dishwasher and making lunches.
AFTERNOONS: Pick up from school or Daycare, often taking children to sports, dance or other activity, coming home, unpacking bags, cleaning lunchboxes, afternoon tea, possible homework supervision, play or hangout with the kids, organise uniforms and bags for the next day, bathing kids. May include domestic duties like getting the washing of the line and folding, meal prep.
