DAYS REQUIRED: Wednesday and Thursday and the occasional Saturday

HOURS:  Minimum 5 hours per day

CHILDREN:  An 8-month-old girl

 This very happy baby loves singing, dancing, water, birds, rattles, sensory class, swimming lessons. doesn't have any struggles and loves cows.

FAMILY DETAILS:  Mum and Dad operate a business in three locations  Their home is on 40 acres in Lower Beechmont which is very scenic and quiet. The open and clean living environment has great play spaces both inside and outside.  They also enjoy boating from Marina Mirage.

IDEAL NANNY:   Looking for a long-term nanny who can be a second set of hands as mum likes to have the baby with her but can't be doing two things at once.  Two days a week while I get some things done around the house/work & occasionally on weekends, rare but when parents go to events.  

DUTIES REQUIRED:  Mother's help

• Preparing children's snacks and meals
• Bathing and dressing
• Play activities

Domestic and Personal Assistant duties:  Extra Hours for Shopping, laundry, maybe cooking, bedding, cleaning - if this interests you.

PAY RATE: $33 neg

Full-time position 38 hours

DAYS REQUIRED: Monday to Friday

HOURS: 3 long days and 2 half days

CHILDREN:  Girls aged 8 and nearly 4

 The eldest is a positive, loving, and energetic girl who loves animals, music, and art, and is sensitive. Her little sister is confident, loving, and an outgoing child who loves anything her sister does. She has started Pre-prep this year and is thriving, as she is very focused and loves books.. She is also very outspoken and has some wonderfully important things to say.  

FAMILY DETAILS:  Mum is an Anaesthetist, and Dad is the owner and operator of an Earthmoving/Construction company.  They live on 12 acres in the hinterland and home is wonderful. The environment is kept very clean and tidy. Their days are busy with early starts and sometimes late finishes. Very calm and happy environment, especially when they have help and support.

IDEAL NANNY:   You are the sort of person who would rather drive to work through rolling hills than be stuck bumper to bumper, and when you arrive at the family home, you will be happy to smell the roses. You will have a caring nature, be able to use your initiative, be well organised and use your time well to help run the household keeping everything clean and tidy.  The most important thing for mum and dad is that you have a close connection with the children and are able to foster their development in a supportive environment.

A good driving record is essential, with all care taken to transport the children safely. 

DUTIES REQUIRED:  

Morning duties include preparing lunches, and getting the youngest dressed and driving the girls to school. 

During the day, you will return to the house to undertake domestic duties (nothing too crazy), doing household jobs that need doing if any extra time (laundry, empty dishwasher, tidying up girls' things and room)  

Afternoon is pick-up and heading home for afternoon tea. 

Preparing dinner is a bonus.  They use Hello Fresh meals (the quick and easy menu)

• School/daycare drop-off and pick-up

• Bathing and dressing
• Play activities
• Homework supervision
• Domestic duties

PAY RATE: $ TBA and will include superannuation and driving expenses

FULL-TIME: 4 OR 5 FULL DAYS

CHILDREN: A baby due mid-November and a 19 month old girl who is  is the happiest child, has slept through the night from early on, very easy going, and loves her food, company & play. Mum and Dad feel blessed as she brightens up their world. She loves Day Care and the staff there just adore her too.

DAYS REQUIRED: 4 days,possibly becoming 5, when mum is in full work mode after Christmas.

HOURS: To start with, 5+ hours a day then 8 hour days

FAMILY DETAILS:  Mum and Dad are Business Owners/Senior Sales Executive + Commercial/Environmental Drone Operator. Mum is only taking a month off work and will be relying on a wonderful nanny to help before she return to her office in Mermaid Beach.  They live in a beautiful apartment steps from the Ocean. Very clean and organised. The lounge room is her playroom and they love it that way! They are very tidy and organised and maintenance is easy. They also have a mini-sausage dog (fur-baby) she is 9 years old so sleeps most of the day, loves human connection. They have a pool, beautiful park across the road, visitor parking. Long-term, they have purchased a property & will be moving to a house with a backyard. Coffee lovers will be happy with an awesome machine for an endless supply.  

IDEAL NANNY:   They don't have any family on the Gold Coast and would like to build a special relationship with a nanny with a high level of experience with newborn babies.  She should be organised, happy, and easy to be around! We hope she will understand that everything she is doing is making a huge impact on their world. Someone who is willing to be flexible, if need be. Comfortable driving, experience with childcare, energetic and loves the park/outdoors. It would be a bonus if you enjoy cooking, and are health conscious. We really need someone who is happy to assist with general domestic house jobs.

The position will also involve travel on occasion, if it suits the nanny.

DUTIES REQUIRED:  

Initially, the role will involve helping mum with everyday routines, caring for their daughter also involving drop-off and pick-up. When the baby is born, the nanny can also help mum and give her a break when needed.

Supporting daily routines for both children

• Preparing snacks, and meals

• Dressing, playtime, and age-appropriate educational activities

• Managing naps and settling the baby

• Light household duties related to the children (tidying, laundry, toy rotation, meals/snacks)

• Occasional ad hoc babysitting on weekends or evenings (optional)

AND the ability to travel overseas with excellent opportunities

PAY RATE: $30 to $40 + per hour, salary and benefits

 PART-TIME

CHILDREN:  3 boys aged 11, 10, and 5 who have a fantastic time playing together in a rural setting.  Typically, the eldest is the leader, who likes to joke and has a great personality. The middle boy is quieter and keeps the calm, but is a quiet achiever. Mr. 5-year-old is the cruiser, a very intelligent and happy boy. They enjoy going to the skate park with their scooters and playing in the playgrounds. They do love doing activities, board & card games and some iPad time. 

DAYS REQUIRED: Monday and Thursday, with the possibility of a third day

HOURS: 8 am to 3 pm hours 

FAMILY DETAILS:  Mum and Dad are the Director and Office Manager of a security company.  They have a happy home, and approach everything with a positive attitude. Mum and Dad like to be actively involved with the children, and as their home is on an acreage, which backs onto native bushland, there is plenty of opportunity to have fun. What's a home like this without a friendly German Shepherd dog? (She has her own fenced area, so does not need to be inside if Nanny does not want her to be, and she is well trained). We have a cat and 3 chickens. The home has a large, covered concrete patio, and the swimming pool is next to this area, with a trampoline too. So it's really a great area for the boys to play ball or games. 

IDEAL NANNY:   It's the happy season, so the nanny will be happy to engage with the boys and activities. Supervising them in the home swimming pool, on the tramp, playing games, taking them to the skate park, local playground, movies or theme park. Ok with them having 1 hour of iPad time or PlayStation time. She should be happy to help a little around the house with minor house duties, hanging out washing, and unloading the dishwasher. More hours can be provided if the nanny would like to help with housekeeping duties.

PART-TIME

CHILDREN: 8 year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl.  The kids are friendly and well mannered .  Both are quite intelligent and get along with each other and previous nannie .  They are both playful and love both indoor and outdoor activities and sport .  I have absolutely no doubts your experience will be rewarding and enjoyable 

DAYS REQUIRED:  The days required are alternating 

Week 1: Wednesday and Thursday afternoon/evening and a Saturday

Week 2: Thursday and Friday and a Saturday or Sunday. 

Full days during school holidays and there may be more hours to do some light household chores. 

HOURS: 

FAMILY DETAILS:  Dad is a Doctor who treasures his time with the kids but is also working long hours.  His family has been assisting him but will be moving away soon.  They live in paradise, well home is in a well-appointed luxury apartment on the beach so along with all the facilities that resort living offers, the beach and boardwalk offer ample opportunity for activities and fun.  Other than that, the kids like to be home chilling as their school week is quite academic.

DUTIES REQUIRED:  

•  Assisting with school pick-ups and after-school transport to extra-curricular activities
•  Going outdoors for activities (weekends only) such as the pool, sports, movies, art etc
• Extra hours during School Holiday periods
• Supporting daily routines for both children
• Preparing snacks, and meals
• Light house-keeping and organisation

PAY RATE: $35 to $40 + per hour

 PART-TIME

CHILDREN:  3.5 year old boy and a 4 month old baby girl

The family are delighted to welcome a happy content baby girl who is in a good routine and is loved by her big brother. The four year old will 

DAYS REQUIRED: Monday, Thursday and Friday are preferred.

HOURS: 8 hours a day 

FAMILY DETAILS:  Dad is the General Manager of a hotel chain and Mum is a nurse who is on leave and will return to work early January. They live in Burleigh Waters on the waterfront in a large home and have a large grassed area with a great set up for family games and climbing equipment and swings. There is a pool and relaxation area and the Nanny is invited to enjoy this during her breaks.  They like to keep the home tidy and organised and have a cleaner and gardener to help as Dad works long hours.  

IDEAL NANNY:  The family are hoping for a mature age nanny as they don't have grandparents that live in Australia. Having a healthy and active lifestyle would make a good fit as they like to go for long walks and exercise their energetic dog Windsor.  The Nanny will be someone who loves working with babies and has a high level of experience.  A bright, positive personality, yet has an easy-going attitude will suit this lovely family. It would be a blessing for them if the nanny is very proactive in the household and can help with some domestic duties.  They would also like the Nanny to be available to come on international holidays with them as a family, 2 to 3 times per year. Occasional babysitting on the weekends. 

DUTIES REQUIRED:   This role would mostly be for the newborn however the occasional help with the four year-old is required, with Kindy pick up or drop off if Mum is not available.

 The kids are loads of fun! They are busy, creative, and just want to play 24/7 like typical boys do.  They are great mates and respond well to clear guidelines and boundaries.

DAYS REQUIRED: Monday to Friday or possibly a 4-day week.

HOURS: 8 hours a day

FAMILY DETAILS:  Mum and Dad run a successful finance company, and Dad travels for work. They also enjoy traveling as a family to locations far and wide and would like a nanny who will join them. They have a lovely home on acreage with plenty of space to play, including a large rumpus room. The boys attend Pre-prep and Day-care but most days will be with at least one of the boys.

IDEAL NANNY:   Experience with newborns is required as mum will need support when the baby is born, early next year.  The family are seeking a nanny who is fun, firm but fair, cooks healthy food, interest in health and cares about the family's health. Mum is cruisy and would appreciate someone who is comfortable taking the role to a level where she will instinctively know what needs doing with little fuss.  Mum intends to play a part in the home duties so that the nanny feels valued and appreciated.

A nanny who enjoys cooking nutritious food will be a bonus for the busy family.

• Light household duties related to the children (tidying, laundry, toy rotation, meals/snacks)

• Occasional ad hoc babysitting on weekends or evenings (optional)

• Collaborating respectfully with parents and following positive behaviour management 

AND the ability to travel overseas with excellent opportunities

PAY RATE: $40 + per hour, salary and benefits
