Part-time to start ASAP

Children:  Girl aged 7, a 5 year old boy and a baby girl due end of October.  Two fit kids. Polite, energetic, and creative. They love crafts, colouring, swimming, jiu jitsu, bike rides, trampoline, school. Both are looking forward to meeting their new baby sister in late October.

Days:  Monday to Friday with some days off if required. 

Hours:  Early start and 32 hours average per week.

Family Details: Dad is a company Director and Mum is a stay-at-home mum who needs some help to get the kids off to school and help her with the family home and the newborn. They have a lovely home environment 

Ideal Nanny:   A nanny who can look after Mum as she’s recovering from her C Section, and help her complete her usual tasks at home and dropping of the kids etc.  She won’t be able to get as much done in her 5 weeks of recovery.  After that, moving forward, they will require extra sessions as they go out on dates etc, or potentially even take the nanny on holiday in future.  

Start Date: Early October and then more hours in January

Rate of Pay: $30 to $50 per hour neg

Part-time

Children:  Boys aged 7 and 13 

The boys catch a school bus to attend a private school and have activities after school to attend.  One is outgoing and one is the quiet considerate type and they are both polite and friendly.

Days and Hours:  Monday to Thursday.  Minimum 20 hours a week but may be more if the Nanny can help with extra duties. Before and after school would be ideal or just afternoons with full days in the school holidays.

 Family details:  Mum works long hours as a financial advisor and Dad is often working interstate every second week. This doesn't leave them much time to be home for the kids after school or during school holidays so they know life would be easier with a Nanny to step into Mum's shoes.  They are a close family unit with an equal blend of busy and relaxed, depending on the day. 

Ideal Nanny:  Mum: " Our ideal person would be someone who can take initiative and not just work from a list but can identify things that need doing and how to handle situations that arise. More than a babysitter, I basically want them to be 'me' when I am not here (and sometimes when I am!)  We would like someone who can be fun yet firm when needed, with a warm personality and a genuine caring nature. Organised and reliable is a must, and it is important that they like to create a tidy environment. The role includes dinner prep, so someone who takes pride in / enjoys cooking would be ideal! "

Duties Include:  Driving children to activities, supervising homework, preparing meals and school lunch. Helping the boys stay organised for school.

 General house organising / tidying (they have a regular cleaner, so no 'heavy cleaning' required) - Pack / unpack dishwasher  - Stick vac and electric mop of tiled areas as needed - Laundry (wash, hang, fold and iron where required) - Meal prep for family using HelloFresh, packing lunches, unpacking groceries etc. - Be available for trades, accept package deliveries etc as required  

Start Date: ASAP

Rate of Pay: $40 to $50 per hour neg

Part-time for an EARLY RISER

Children:  8 year-old girl who is a very happy and caring little girl who loves her arts and crafts. 

Days and Hours: Monday to Friday preferred (days can be flexible) 

An early start at 5 am until school drop off at 8.30 am. More hours if the Nanny is available to help with housework and shopping.

Family Details:  Mum and Dad run a busy company and have early starts.  They have a happy home on beautiful Hope Island surrounded by water and nature.  Having some help around the house to do everyday cleaning and shopping would be ideal and would offer extra hours but is not essential. Our Miss 8 enjoys a sleep-in until 7 pm and enjoys school.

Ideal Nanny:   The family is looking for a wonderful Nanny who will engage and connect with their lovely girl. The Nanny must be an early riser and may be looking for a second job or this position could be suitable for a student. A good driving record and a suitable car are required.

Start Date: ASAP

Rate of Pay: $35 per hour negotiable 

READY TO INTERVIEW

Children:  A very sweet 8 year old friendly and kind girl and an equally sweet 6 year old boy.  The girl loves art and music and chatting! She has a scooter and a bike but mostly you’ll find her drawing or creating things on the kitchen table.  The boy loves playing toys, basketball, skateboarding but if he had his way he’d also play lots of video games (which he isn’t allowed!) He doesn’t love school so that always takes a bit of encouragement/patience.  

Days and Hours:  FULL TIME PAY Monday to Friday 6.30 to 8.30 and 2.30 to 7pm with some flexibility in between.  Full days in school holidays.

Family Details:   Mum and Dad both work in the film industry and due to the work load, they often travel but are both doing projects on the Coast.  They children have had Nannies since they were young and the family really enjoy having a close connection with the Nanny. 

Ideal Nanny:    They like a Nanny with a cool vibe who is calm, and patient, plays with the kids and is organised and tidy.

Duties: Morning routine to get the kids off to school, then afternoon pick-up. 

Preparing meals for children, Bathing, dressing, Driving children in own car, After school activities, Homework supervision light housework duties - vacuum, folding laundry, kids beds.

Children: 9-month-old, happy and curious baby girl who brings joy to everyone around her. She is cheeky, determined, and loves exploring her world. She enjoys spending time in nature, going for walks in her pram, and playing with her favourite toys during floor time. Sensory books are her favourite, and she loves being read to and being entertained. She likes using her hands, shaking any toys that jingle, she is currently trying to stand a lot (she loves crawling around her play pen) and she has 4 teeth.  

Days and Hours:  Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 8 hour days

Family Details:   Mum and Dad work as a management consultant/senior operations manager in banking. The lovely family home is a spacious, single-floor, four-bedroom house designed to be comfortable and family-friendly. .The layout allows for easy supervision and interaction, creating a safe and engaging environment.

Ideal Nanny:  Ability to create a nurturing and fun environment where learning happens naturally through play and exploration. They should be engaging and creative, with a focus on development. A Nanny who is patient, kind, and attentive to the baby's cues, ensuring that she feels safe and supported. A mature career nanny or qualifications in education would be highly regarded. 

Duties: Play-based learning activities, infant care, feeding, settling for naps, preparing meals for baby, light household duties maintaining a tidy and organised space as needed.  

Start Date: 26th September 

Rate of Pay: $35 per hour negotiable

Part-time to start ASAP

Children:  Girls aged 7 and 5 and a baby boy due mid November. 

The eldest is kind, and compassionate and can sit and colour/draw for hours and is independent and enjoys her own space and time. Miss 5 is more social and outgoing. Both girls are fairly resilient, playful, and well-behaved. 

Days:  Monday to Friday with some days off if required. 

Hours: 2pm to 7pm hours. (Can be an earlier start if the Nanny is looking for more hours)From January there will be two long days a week plus afternoons.

Family Details: Dad owns and operates a construction company and Mum also operates a business from home.  Home is happy, organized, clean, tidy, and usually a fairly calm environment. They chill with relaxing music, or play dance music and have little dance parties in the kitchen. Though Dad works big hours, he is very playful and involved with the kids when he gets home. 

Ideal Nanny:    The Nanny will have excellent experience with babies. In general, someone who is organised, can follow a routine, is attentive with the children/playful, but can also find things around the house to do/clean, laundry, dishes, prep food for the children-lunch/dinner, potentially even dinner for parents as well. Flexible with mum's schedule or duties around the house.  Someone comfortable with a dog. Mini schnauzer 

Start Date: Early October and then more hours in January

Before and After School Care

Children:  7 year old girl and a 4 year old boy.  Think girly girl and a typical happy boy. Miss 7, loves dancing and dressing up and her little brother just enjoys his play and learning.  

Days and Hours: Thursday, Friday and sometimes over the weekend as an option

Family Details: This single Dad adores his time with the kids and as her works in the construction world, he has early start times.  Home is happy and chilled.

Ideal Nanny: As mentioned, an early riser would suit this role and possibly someone who is in the area and has a job that starts later or is studying.  They are looking for a reliable, easy-going Nanny to help the kids get off to school without fuss. As the children are attending Worongary vacation care during the school holidays, she will also need a reliable car and a good driving record.

Start Date: 8th July

Before and afterschool care for the Nanny and regular hours for a cleaner.

CHILDREN:  6 year old boy who attends school in Reedy Creek

DAYS AND HOURS:  Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday preferred.

 8 am to 5 pm or later.

FAMILY DETAILS:  Father and son live in the peaceful, beautiful Springbrook National Park. Dad works and requires a Nanny to help with school drop off and pick up and some help at home during part of the day.

IDEAL NANNY:  Kind, genuine and reliable.  This position will suit a Nanny who lives in the areas or enjoys travelling along mountain roads.

IDEAL CLEANER:  Experienced and flexible. Job description will be given on application.  If you have experience with children, you may want to combine both roles

THE DUTIES WILL INCLUDE:   Morning routine, packing lunch and preparing for school. School drop off and pick up.  Some shopping and light cleaning. Meal prep.  Homework supervision.

RATE OF PAY:   $35 per hour.

Pay will reflect the Nannies experience, qualifications and expectations.

Part-time

Children:  I year old girl who is a delightful child, easy to care for, and a joy to be around. She's consistently cheerful and content, only showing signs of discomfort when she needs sleep, food, or a diaper change. During teething, she understandably becomes a bit irritable, but when she's well-rested and nourished, she's an absolute pleasure to spend time with. 

Days and Hours:  Tuesday and Wednesday from 9am to 2 pm

Family Details:    Dad is Branch Manager who goes to work at 7am and comes home around 4:30-5 pm.  Mum will be working from home (digital marketing), and will be there if needed (for example, baby is sometimes breastfed). We are pretty quiet chilled people :) the most important for us is that Olivia is happy healthy and looked after.  

Ideal Nanny:  This lovely family are searching for someone deeply passionate about their job, whom they can trust completely. The ideal candidate would not only spend quality time with baby, but also actively engage in teaching her new skills and nurturing her development. This includes playing, taking her on walks, and attending rhythm times at the library – all the enjoyable activities that foster growth and happiness. Most importantly, her comfort and well-being are my top priority.
