Home is a large property on the water for this very happy, easy-going family. As a single Mum running her own company, getting her daughter off to school is a top priority, and Mum is a regular surfer who will be in the water before most people open their eyes. There are older teenage boys, and your charge, the 7-year-old, who is easy-going and always happy.
This may suit a nanny who has a position and would like some extra morning hours, or a nanny who is happy to do a few hours and spend the rest of her day with the knowledge that her work is done.
Ideally, you are:
A busy, curious five-year-old boy and a sweet, adventurous 18-month-old girl. They are both active, happy children who love exploring the world around them. Music is a big part of their day, whether it's singing, dancing, or enjoying interactive musical play. They love spending time outdoors at local playgrounds, climbing, running, and challenging themselves with age-appropriate physical activities.
Mum is an Occupational Therapist and Dad works in the IT industry. They are a warm, down-to-earth family who have created a calm, happy, and welcoming home where family life is their priority. Their home has a wonderful open-plan layout with plenty of dedicated play space, providing the children with an environment that encourages creativity, exploration, and learning through play.
Located close to beautiful parks, the beach, the local library, and other family-friendly amenities, there are endless opportunities for outdoor adventures, community activities, and enriching experiences.
We are looking for a warm, organised, and proactive nanny who is genuinely passionate about supporting children's growth and development. It is important to us that our nanny understands the importance of emotional regulation and can provide calm, consistent guidance, while being open to working alongside us in supporting this approach.
Our ideal nanny takes initiative and enjoys creating a well-organised environment where the children can thrive. They will naturally stay on top of the children's daily routines and household tasks related to their care, ensuring play areas are reset and organised at the end of the day, benches, floors and the highchair are cleaned, and everything is put away ready for the next day.
They will be happy to prepare healthy meals and snacks for the children, including lunches and dinner when required, along with cleaning up afterwards. They will also assist with keeping the children's bedrooms tidy and organised, resetting clothing when needed, and ensuring school bags and the nappy bag are replenished and ready each day, with lunchboxes and drink bottles washed and nappies restocked.
Most importantly, we are looking for someone who loves engaging with children and takes the initiative to plan fun, creative, and developmentally appropriate activities. Whether it's music, arts and crafts, outdoor adventures, imaginative play, animal experiences, playground visits, or water play, our ideal nanny will bring enthusiasm, creativity, and a genuine love of helping our children learn, explore, and enjoy each day. They will become a valued extension of our family, bringing warmth, reliability, and a positive, nurturing presence into our home.
